RoHS Compliance

Newnex products comply with EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended, including Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863. Our USB, FireWire and GigE Vision cables, connectors, and FireNEX™ repeaters and hubs meet the applicable concentration limits for all 10 restricted substances without relying on RoHS exemptions.

REACH Compliance

Newnex products covered by the declarations below comply with the applicable requirements of EU Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH), as amended, including applicable Annex XVII restrictions. The covered products contain no Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) at concentrations exceeding 0.1% by weight in any constituent article, based on the ECHA Candidate List version identified in each declaration.

Products produced by Newnex have been tested and/or reviewed, and do not contain chemicals at concentrations that would require a California Prop 65 warning label in accordance with California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

Conflict Minerals

Acknowledged by human rights violations in the "Conflict Region," which is in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Newnex is aware of the "conflict minerals", as directed by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, that include Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, or Gold regardless where they are sourced, processed, or sold. Newnex is committed to source materials throughout our supply chain responsibly and to continuing to comply with the underlying SEC rules and regulations related to "conflict minerals."
